Day 6: Know when to walk away, and when to run

You know those days, where everything is amazing, and then the enemy tries to bring you down?   That was today

Imagine A Door, Into A World, Known As The Twilight Zone

Everything that could possibly go wrong on our project is going wrong, but the worst thing about yesterday, was a series of phone calls with Amy’s mother who accused me of wanting to marry her for her money, said that I am selfish and thought I was “so big” because I talked about God on this site all the time

Oh boy…

When Is Polite Too Polite

I look at the way Jesus handled tough situations, and feel that no matter what, we cannot let people who call themselves Christians act in abusive ways

This doesn’t mean we should explode or lose control of ourselves in our responses, but we should avoid interacting with someone in a way that allows them to think that their communication style, choice of words or attitude is acceptable to us

You Are Say What You Eat

Luke 6:44-45

Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks

Spoken words are very powerful in that they are capable of expressing so many things, and it is important to keep in mind that the expressions that come from people’s mouths are a reflection of who they are as individuals

When we choose to express negative things, our lives, and the lives of those around us, naturally become more negative

The same goes for positive expression as well

Why Bother Responding At All

When it is clear that a situation is not capable of being salvaged, there is no value in continuing to fight, or even responding, especially with those who have a reputation for creating arguments and negativity amongst their own family

Proverbs 26:21
As charcoal to embers and as wood to fire, so is a quarrelsome man for kindling strife
